The Second Annual Southwest Soccer All Stars game will be held on Thursday June 22nd at the Cooper Soccer Complex in Springfield. Designed to recognize high school seniors who played for their teams during the 2005-2006 season, the event will include a Girls game beginning at 6:00 pm and a Boys game beginning at 8:00 pm. In addition, a Youth Skills clinic will be offered at 4:30 pm, featuring the All Stars working with the attendees.
Nominations are currently being solicited from area coaches, from a list that includes 30 boys teams and 21 girls teams covering all MSHSAA Classes. Final rosters should be released following the Memorial Day weekend.
The event is being organized jointly by SGFsoccer.com, Southwest Missouri’s premier source for soccer information, and the Springfield Soccer Club, home to xx teams (or players) and the top performing club program in the region.
